What this tool does not do (stated plainly)
- Nothing is saved. There is no account and no invoice history, so keep the PDF. If you close the tab, the form is cleared.
- The PDF is a plain document: not a legally binding electronic signature, and it is not sent to your client for you.
- You are responsible for the tax and record-keeping rules that apply to your business, including whether you must show a tax number.
FAQ
Do I need an invoice number?
No, the generator does not require one and will not invent one. Many businesses use a running number because it makes bookkeeping easier and some clients ask for it. Type the reference you already use, or leave it blank.
Is this really free, or a free trial?
It is free, permanently: no trial, no account, no card. Because the PDF is generated in your browser there is no server cost per invoice, and therefore no monthly download cap.
Can I edit an invoice after I download the PDF?
No. The PDF is a finished file. To change anything, fill the form again and download a new one — nothing is stored, so there is no saved copy to reopen.
Privacy: everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Your business name, client details, line items and amounts are processed on your own device and never sent to our server. You can confirm this in your browser's Network tab.
